Prepito helps students prepare for management entrance exams with past papers, topic practice and vocabulary learning. This notice describes the current preview platform.
Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, email address, name and profile picture with our authentication provider, Supabase. We use these details to create your Prepito account, keep you signed in and display your profile. Prepito does not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts.
Your practice records
We save your test answers, essay drafts where applicable, question timings, review flags, test position, completion status and scores. Vocabulary records include words you have explored, favorites, custom lists, quiz responses, mastery choices and review schedules. Lesson records include videos you explicitly marked complete and the time of that choice. These records help restore your progress and show your learning history across sessions.
Study planning and focus
We save your personal preparation goals and private planner tasks, including dates, topics, notes and completion choices. If you record a focus session, we save its focused duration and study details as completed planner entries. A running or paused timer stays in your browser until recorded or discarded. While you are signed in, we keep a small daily total of active platform time to show your weekly activity. Hidden tabs and long idle periods are excluded. These totals are approximate activity measures, not a claim that every minute was spent studying. Optional Chrome alerts use your browser notification permission and work while Prepito remains open.
Dashboard visits
We record one dashboard visit per calendar day in Indian time to show your seven-day login streak. We keep your current cycle of up to seven dates, the last visit date and the number of completed cycles. This is private account data, not a public activity log. Welcome messages vary by date and time, without using an AI service or sharing your progress with one.
Community discussions
Community posts, comments, shared resource links and attached images are visible to signed-in students, along with the author's Google display name and profile picture or initials. Your email address and private practice records are not displayed with your contributions. Please avoid posting private personal information about yourself or others. Shared external links open the original website, whose own privacy policies apply.
We store follows, bookmarks, Helpful reactions and read markers for your account. Follows remain until you unfollow. The community bell shows comment activity from the last 14 days, without retaining separate copies of each notification. Posts and comments remain after notification activity disappears. Reports are available to authorized platform operators for moderation. Images are compressed before upload and stored in a private bucket, accessible through time-limited links to signed-in members. Removed contributions are hidden from the discussion but may remain in backend records until a deletion request is handled.
Feedback and suggestions
When you send feedback, we save your message, chosen category and account identifier, together with the page reference, selected exam, analytics view or question reference where available. Problem reports can optionally include a screenshot that you choose to capture, preview and remove before sending. We exclude account controls and clear input fields from the generated preview, but please review it for personal information before submitting. Screenshots are compressed and stored privately. Feedback is available to authorized Prepito operators, not published in Community or used as a public testimonial without separate permission. Screenshots are not captured for ordinary feedback unless you request one. There is currently no automatic feedback retention deadline; you can request deletion using the feedback form described below.
Where information is stored
Supabase stores account and practice records in our project, configured in Mumbai. Account access controls restrict student records to their authenticated owner. Authorized platform operators can administer the backend. Netlify hosts the website, and Google provides sign-in. Lesson videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode after you click Play. YouTube then receives the technical information needed to provide playback, under its own privacy policies. These service providers process information needed to operate their services, including technical request and security logs.
Your browser stores your login session, an account-specific progress cache and any changes waiting to sync. A shared device can retain these records until its site data is cleared. Logging out ends the Prepito session in that browser. Clearing site data before pending changes are saved can remove unsynced work.
How we use and share information
We use your information to provide sign-in, save and restore practice, calculate results and support the platform. The current application does not include advertising or third-party marketing analytics. We do not sell student information or use Google profile information for advertising. Essential data is processed by Google, Supabase and Netlify as part of running Prepito.
Your choices
You can log out from the profile menu, change saved vocabulary lists and learning choices, and revoke Prepito's Google access in your Google Account connections. Revoking Google access or logging out does not automatically delete your Prepito practice records.
There is currently no self-service account deletion screen or automatic retention deadline. Records are kept while the account is active or until deletion is requested and handled. To request access, correction or deletion of your account data, or ask a privacy question, sign in and choose Share feedback in your dashboard. Select Other feedback and describe your privacy or account-data request. We may need to verify ownership before processing a request.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the platform's data handling changes, including when new features or service providers are introduced.
